Since Lighthouse's beginning, providing a sustainable legacy in the community has been a top priority. Over time, the seeds of an endowment have been created by a core group of families with a desire to see Lighthouse flourish well into the future and provide a Lighthouse education for those who may not otherwise be able to be blessed by the experience.

An endowment fund is a permanent, self-sustaining source of funding. Endowment gifts are invested conservatively with hopes of growing them to provide meaningful income in the future. For the 2022-2023 school year, the Lighthouse endowment balance reached $534,754. Each year, investment earnings are used to help fund tuition assistance. Our goal is to have a $2 million endowment in order to assist families in need by providing tuition assistance. An endowment is a gift that keeps on giving!

It is through the hearts and resources of many that we will be able to build this for future generations of Navigators. There is no minimum amount for an endowment gift. Growth will be achieved over time by the generosity of many – in all shapes and sizes. Estate gifts, or those provided through securities, are also wonderful opportunities for both the school and the donor.
