Equipped with a 24-station iMac computer lab, two Apple mobile labs, and a one-to-one iPad program for middle school students, Lighthouse purposefully integrates technology into all classroom curriculum.

Technology | Elementary Students

The mission of the elementary technology program is to inspire teachers and students to use computer technology to improve innovation, solve complex problems, and use creative thinking within classroom curriculum. Elementary classrooms are each equipped with ten Chromebook laptops that are used for Accelerated Reader and other web-based programs. Elementary students advance their skills using Microsoft’s Power Point, Excel, and Word applications through individualized instruction from a dedicated technology teacher, as well as in the classroom.

Technology | Middle School

iPads are used throughout our middle school classrooms. Our iPad program is an integral part of preparing our middle school students for successful high school careers and beyond! We incorporate Office 365 into our toolset and teach our students to effectively use this and other cloud-based computing tools. A vital part of our program includes teaching our students Biblical Digital Citizenship© - incorporating sound Biblical principles while learning to safely navigate the internet.
