High Academic Standards

Academics are a high priority at Lighthouse Christian. We employ only state-certified and ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International) certified teachers for full time positions who are committed to a faith in Jesus Christ and educational excellence. Our teachers set and achieve exceptional results on a daily, monthly, and yearly basis, which contributes to our elementary students being enthusiastic, joyful learners. Combined with a nurturing environment and solid educational philosophy and methodology, Lighthouse classrooms are proving to be among the most productive in the nation!

Along with quality in-class testing, Lighthouse also uses standardized testing to assess students’ progress in the basic skills of reading, language, and math throughout the school year. 

Elementary Specialist Classes

Elementary students in grades K-5 participate in a number of specialist classes including Art, PE, Library, Science Lab, Spanish, Music, and Technology.
