Christ-Centered Education

Lighthouse Christian School exists to glorify God by providing quality, Christ-centered education that will nurture students to become spiritually minded, academically versed, socially balanced, and equipped to make a positive impact in their community to the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. Our faculty and staff are spiritually mature believers who are passionate about fostering faith and spiritual growth in all students. 

The foundation of faith laid during elementary years continues as students grow and mature throughout middle school. Our elementary program seeks to demonstrate the harmony between Biblical truth and academic subjects, nurturing our students to think and live from a Biblical worldview. Middle school students participate in daily Bible classes, where they learn to know and love God more fully, explore the Bible, grow their faith, and learn how to apply Biblical principles to their daily lives.  

What is Spiritual Formation? 

Spiritual formation is the ongoing, lifelong process of being transformed into the image of Jesus. At Lighthouse, this is central to our mission. We are committed to helping students grow in their faith and develop an authentic, personal relationship with Him. 

Weekly Chapel

Chapel is a weekly highlight at Lighthouse! Students enjoy a lively, heartfelt time of singing and worship, followed by a message and prayer.

Our chapel theme this year is ‘Becoming the Stuff of Legend’ and our theme verse is, “The Lord is more pleased when we do what is right and just than when we offer him sacrifices.” (Proverbs 21:3). 
 

Missional Outreach 

In addition to Bible lessons and weekly chapels, students develop hearts for missional outreach as they participate in classroom and school-wide opportunities to serve others in our school, local, and global communities.

In addition to series on books of the Bible, RightNow Media has videos for everyone in our families on a variety of topics like marriage, parenting, personal finances, mental health, and more. There’s even a library just for kids with over 2,000 safe, entertaining videos.
