Little Lights Preschool | Lighting the Way for Learners | Opening Fall 2027

At Little Lights Preschool, young children will be known, loved, encouraged, and inspired to learn. As an extension of Lighthouse’s Christ-centered educational program, Little Lights will provide a nurturing preschool experience where faith, play, exploration, and purposeful learning come together.

Designed for 3- and 4-year-olds, Little Lights will help children build a strong foundation for kindergarten and beyond while growing spiritually, socially, emotionally, physically, and academically.
 

A Bright Beginning

We believe the early years are an important part of a child’s educational journey. Children are naturally curious, capable learners who thrive when they have opportunities to explore, create, play, ask questions, and build meaningful relationships.
Little Lights will combine evidence-based early childhood practices with a play-based philosophy, creating engaging learning experiences that are developmentally appropriate and intentionally designed for young children.

Our teachers will serve as guides—encouraging curiosity, nurturing confidence, and helping children develop the skills they need for their next steps in school and in life.

Christ-Centered from the Start

Faith will be woven naturally throughout each child’s day at Little Lights. We believe education nurtures the whole child, and our teachers will intentionally support children’s spiritual growth by helping them understand God’s love, discover His creation, build relationships with others, and begin developing a Biblical worldview.

As part of the broader Lighthouse community, Little Lights will extend our mission to our youngest learners while providing families with an integrated educational experience from preschool through eighth grade.

Preschool Programs

Pre-K for 3-Year-Olds
Our program for 3-year-olds will provide a warm and engaging introduction to school, with an emphasis on play, exploration, relationships, communication, independence, and age-appropriate early learning.

Kindergarten Prep for 4-Year-Olds
Our full-day kindergarten preparation program will help 4-year-olds develop the academic, social-emotional, physical, and spiritual foundations they need to confidently transition into kindergarten.

Full- and partial-day scheduling options will be available, along with before- and after-school care to help meet the needs of families.

What Families Can Expect

Little Lights Preschool is being thoughtfully designed around the needs of young learners. Our program will feature:

• Evidence-based early literacy and numeracy experiences integrated naturally into developmentally appropriate learning.

• Whole-child development, supporting spiritual, social-emotional, physical, and academic growth.
• Access to the Lighthouse campus, including the library, gym, playground, and outdoor learning areas.
• Strong family partnerships, with teachers and families working together to support each child's growth.
• An integrated preschool–8th grade experience, allowing children and families to become part of the larger Lighthouse community from the very beginning.
