Lighthouse has a four-phase master site plan, which will help maximize our current space to meet the educational needs of current and future students. LCS is currently in Phase 1 of the master site plan.

Two of the greatest needs communicated from parents over the past five years have been a covered play area and more parking. A new covered play area will ensure all students can play and learn safely outdoors, and expanded and additional parking will help provide safe school access for all.

We are so thankful to the generous donors and grant awards that have helped us fund 60 percent of Phase 1 projects. Fundraising will continue throughout the 2023-2024 school year.

Part 1: Rainy Day Recess

This is the first video in a 3-part series highlighting different projects of the LCS Master Site Plan. When rainy or winter weather arrives, Lighthouse's gym is no longer large enough to house all of our students for recess, especially with PE classes still being held. Having an outdoor play structure will give students needed play time and physical activity to help them focus better in class regardless of weather conditions. Additionally, this space will be available for classes to use for outdoor learning activities.
