Stephen Roddy Biography
Joelle Neufeld – K-8 Assistant Principal
Born and raised in the Tacoma area, I graduated from Tacoma Baptist High School. I Graduated from Central Washington University with a degree in Education and a minor in English. The pleasure was all mine when I married my high school sweetheart almost 19 years ago. Blessings from the Lord continued as He gave my husband and me two amazing children: Spencer (tenth grade) and McKenna (sixth grade). Both attend Lighthouse. Feeling God’s leading, I had the distinct privilege of joining the Lighthouse staff four years ago. For the past three years, I have had the joy of teaching my passions to the greatest age group of all: eighth grade English and ninth grade Literature & Composition. My family attends Chapel Hill Presbyterian Church. In my free time, I enjoy reading on a cold and stormy night, walking, and traveling with my family. My favorite place to visit is Disneyland. An interesting fact about me is that I was voted “Class Crack-Up” my senior year of high school. Making people smile and laugh is something I still intensely enjoy doing. Laughter is a great medicine!
Jenny Dubinski - Director of Operations
I was born and raised in the small town of Woodland Washington. After obtaining my Bachelors Degree with a concentration in accounting at the University of Washington in Seattle, I earned my CPA. It was at my first out of college job at Deloitte and Touche where I met my husband. Over the next fifteen years I worked at a few different companies and we began our family. During this time, God placed a desire in my heart to help kids become Godly leaders. This position links my passion with my experience and I feel blessed that I can work at a place that helps children become all that God created them to be. I live with my husband, three lovely daughters and our dog Taffy in Gig Harbor.
