Our Mission
Lighthouse Christian School exists to glorify God by providing quality, Christ-centered education that will nurture students to become spiritually minded, academically versed, socially balanced, and equipped to make a positive impact in their community to the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Our Vision
Lighthouse Christian School is a Christ centered, K-8 school in Gig Harbor, Washington. Established in 1994 by a group of parents with a vision for an independent, interdenominational Christian education, LCS soon grew into a vibrant and thriving school with ninety-seven students housed within three local church buildings. Today, Lighthouse offers a student-faculty ratio of approximately 18 to 1 and a flourishing academic program on an independent campus with 325 students.
Centered on a strong academic core curriculum, the Lighthouse education includes music, art, foreign language, drama, technology, and athletics. Experienced teachers and small class sizes combine to make Lighthouse an excellent place for students to grow in their knowledge and love of God. Here they are provided a solid foundation for their future studies and their lives.
